TSI editor’s note: In an article from The Salt Lake Tribune, Scott Pierce reports on the philanthropy of a silver coin collector. The article states that, “the estimated value of the nearly 1,600 coins is more than $25 million, according to Stack’s Bowers Galleries in Santa Ana, Calif., which will conduct the auction,” that will partly fund a new children’s hospital. This article demonstrates how sound money advocates care as much about future generations as they do the present.
