“Nigel Farage is shilling gold and silver on the internet” – Financial Times #silver

TSI editor’s note (Opinion): Good propaganda uses words that evoke an emotional response that gets the reader to feel like they should be morally obligated to side with or against something. In this post on the Financial Times, Jemima Kelly uses the word “shilling” to discredit Nigel Farage’s advocacy for sound money, as a kind of swindling. Farage, who has been the leader of the Brexit movement, has advocated for a return to sound money as a way for the people to take back their freedom from the government. But it seems like Jemima Kelly might be the one doing the shilling for the establishment in trying to dissuade the British people in their attempt to take back their power.
